George Bizet: Carmen Suite #1 - AragonaiseI decided to chose "Carmen Suite" for my first choice. I think that it will work perfectly for the feast after Beowulf defeats Grendel. They award Beowulf for defeating Grendel by giving him a gold standard as one of his many gifts. Since it is not one of the most interesting parts, I plan to add music to make it much more interesting. By doing that, I will reel in the viewer to keep them engaged in the film. In conclusion, I think that this music will allow entertainment in the viewer.
Zadok the Priest - Choir of Westminster AbbeyI plan to play "Zadok the Priest" during Beowulf's funeral because it will apply emotion to the film. Beowulf fell to a massive dragon but still managed to kill to dragon with Wiglaf's help. After his death, the Geats plan a funeral for the hero. Although the hero was arrogant, he did save everybody. This piece of music will really add to the scene because it will add sadness and will really include pathos.

Malaguena - Ernesto Lecuona - Anat NavarroI decided to use Malaguena as the song right after Beowulf defeats the dragon. In the poem, Beowulf was able to defeat the dragon but he dies along with it. In my opinion, this song is a bittersweet song just like the book. It is sad but also happy at the same time. It also sounds heroic which is just like the book. I think that this song is a perfect match for this moment in the poem.

Seven Nation ArmyI chose this song because it would add some humor to the movie. I plan to play this song before right after this quote: "Then out of the night came the shadow-stalker, stealthy and swift; the hall guards were slack , asleep at their posts, all except one." That quote from the poem means that everybody in fast asleep except Beowulf. I want the music to play right at that moment. It can be used as a small foreshadow. "Seven Nation Army" will add some mystery and humor to this scene. This idea is yet another way to keep the viewer engaged in the film.

Titanium / Pavane - David Guetta / Faure - The Piano GuysI think that this song would make a great addition to the funeral. I already have a song that I plan to use at the funeral but that song brings sad tone. However, this song bring a "chasey" feeling to the movie. It sounds absolutely beautiful especially since it is mostly played on the Cello. In conclusion, I think that this song is a really great song and will add a whole new perspective to this scene.
